New Delhi, October XX, 2017: The Delhi – NCR Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to foster entrepreneurship, has announced the 10^th season of their TiE Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards 2017 for young companies and startups. The program, in association with Lumis Partners, would create a platform that would aim to promote young companies by combining TiE network and mentoring support of Lumis Partners’ thereby providing access to funding and board level coaching.

Being assessed by a jury which includes some of the most accomplished leaders from industry, the startups would get an opportunity to truly test their mettle. The entrepreneurs would be judged through a series of challenging assessments with a final selection by an array of successful firms including VLCC, Oyo Rooms, Ixigo, Knowlarity, Capillary, The Beer Café, TravelKhana, CoCubes, WebEngage, Simplilearn, Silverpush, 1MG among others.

This initiative will emphasise on fostering tactical skills in the young entrepreneurs and would provide them the opportunity to engage with some of the most renowned marquee investors in specially curated sessions along with mentorship programs to hand hold the entrepreneurs in next few steps. Exclusive workshop for the entrepreneurs would be hosted by Lumis Partners, with an opportunity to interact with previous winners and gain international exposure through various networking and mentorship opportunities.

In its 10^th session, TiE’s unique initiative aims to uncover some of the most innovative, sustainable and high potential companies, key highlights being with two boot-camps around funding and key aspects of business planning. Early stage companies who are private independent entities and are in business for less than 5 years are eligible to apply. Companies having more than INR 1 Crore revenue with an overall equity funding below $25 million would also be eligible to apply.
