TiE and Lumis Partners to host The Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards 2017

~10^th edition of the prestigious award to be held at TiECon 2017 on 15^th December

~Last date to apply is 17th November, 2017

~Shortlisted finalists to be announced by December first week

New Delhi, November 14, 2017: The prestigious TiE Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards returns for its 10^th edition at the TiE Con 2017 being held from 15^th-16^th December 2017, at Taj Palace, New Delhi. The awards ceremony will be hosted on Day 1 of TiE Con 2017 and will see 6 innovative start-ups pitch their ideas and companies to a jury comprising of industry veterans.

TiE Delhi-NCR and Lumis Partners instituted the Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards in 2008 with a vision to recognize outstanding young companies with potential to transform into world class organizations in the near future. The objective was to create a platform for promoting such companies by bringing together the TiE network along with mentoring support from Lumis Partners and providing access to funding and board level coaching. The unique initiative aims to uncover some of the most innovative, sustainable and high potential companies in India.

Earlier editions’ winners include Makemytrip, VLCC, Oyo Rooms, The Beer Café, Travel Khana, 1mg, etc., to name a few. The award has seen a high success rate and a majority of the winners are on a high growth trajectory, with some being industry leaders in their respective domains.

This year too, the jury will evaluate entries based on the applicants’ understanding of the market vis-à-vis product placement, differentiators, value proposition and overall social impact. The 6 finalists will then be given an opportunity for a 10 minute presentation to the jury and 3 will be declared as the final winners. The shortlisted finalists will be announced during the first week of December.
